Client challenges and operational risks
Changing conditions, simultaneous operations and unclear interfaces can weaken risk control offshore, at fabrication yards and on construction projects. Our specialists support leaders and frontline teams with planning, clear communication and structured operational follow-up.
Our specialist services
HSE leadership and safety coaching
Visible field presence, workplace observations, coaching and dialogue across organisational levels. We support safety culture and help teams apply safe work processes to daily activities.
Operational safety and risk
Risk assessment, SIMOPS safety, permit-to-work support and follow-up of safety-critical activities such as lifting and working at height. Critical controls are reviewed against the agreed assignment.
HSE auditing and verification
Management-system reviews, HSE inspections, incident investigations and corrective action follow-up. Reporting is aligned with client systems and the decisions that findings need to support.
Emergency preparedness and project support
Emergency planning, exercises, competence reviews and readiness support for commissioning and operations. HSE Coordinators, Supervisors and Managers can integrate into the client project organisation.
Typical projects and applications
Assignments may cover Norwegian Continental Shelf platforms, drilling rigs, offshore vessels, fabrication yards and onshore industrial facilities. NorthQ is based in the Stavanger region of Rogaland; mobilisation elsewhere is agreed for each project.
Scope and deliverables
Roles, duration, qualifications and reporting interfaces are agreed before mobilisation. Deliverables may include field follow-up, a verification plan, recorded findings, prioritised improvements and traceable closeout status. Client requirements and the actual work scope determine the assignment.
